Hello, my name is Eric MacDonald and I’m very interested in applying to your school. I first came to SHS in grade 1 and I have stayed there to Grade 9. I’ve went for several tours of your school and I’ve spent a day there. I was very impressed and I got a great vibe from this school. This school is my first choice and I’m very happy to be applying there. The York School is my school of choice because I love to be challenged (and the IB program is challenging) and because it advanced and strong in every aspect of the school.

I believe that at SHS I help to keep it a small, successful working environment. I love to lead and challenge myself. I believe I bring a inviting feeling to the school because I’m friends with everyone. I like to always update my school for technology and try to create/improve things around the school. This year I’m the IT (media) captain and this basically means I work to keep our technology up-to-date and I also help with anything tech-related. This year I also played a big part in the making of an elective. I found out about an animation program, learned how to use it, then I presented it to the tech group. It became an elective and I constantly aid the kids in it and sometimes teach.

I was very impressed with your academics and you guys have a great facility. I love technology and you guys were very up-to-date in that category. I like to work in a small environment and your school had a very friendly vibe. Your school was also co-ed and that keeps you interested in school. I think I would fit in and be a positive influence in the class.

This is why I think I would be a great addition to your school and I would love to come. Your school was really appealing and I was very impressed.
